Social Medicine

In the mid 1990s I wrote some chapters for a book on health from the perspective of a socially-aware medical doctor. It was to be called, Health, Social Medicine and Medical Services.

For many reasons I did not work on it until now. Because I think that the issues addressed are important and still relevant, I decided to edit and post what I had written on my website. I will not update any of it but will add a postscript to each chapter. I do not intend to prepare all the chapters for posting now and when I do, it may not be ad seriatim.
